posBoss becomes Bustle

Let's take a look at what is happening with the move to our new brand, Bustle!

What is happening?

During April 2024, posBoss underwent a change to our new brand - Bustle. We're still the same NZ-owned company run by people passionate about hospitality, dedicated to creating tools that make your business easier to run. To begin, the only things to change will be the look and feel of our website, the Management site and the iPad app. The functionality will remain unchanged for now - but watch this space!

We know that change can be strange - but rest assured we are doing everything we can to make this one as seamless as possible. There will be very little needed for customers to do.


Why is posBoss changing to a new brand?

We are becoming Bustle to better represent the hustling and bustling atmosphere of the hospitality world we’re all passionate about. It’s not just a name change; it’s a leap towards enriching your experience with us, featuring a fresh look and adding more robust features designed to help you serve more good times!


What is changing?

At this point, expect to see some fresh colours and a new logo across the management site and the iPad app. Other than this, all the functionality you depend on will remain unchanged (for now). There should be VERY minimal disruption to your business during the brand update.

Let's take a quick look at the new sites and iPad app...

The posBoss Management site becomes the Bustle Hub

It is located at https://hub.heybustle.com and we'll get you there with a smooth transition over April.

The posBoss iPad app becomes the Bustle App

You will still be able to find it in the app store if you search for posBoss, or Bustle. Again, there are only a few changes to colours and logos - no functionality changes - and you can install it over the top of your current posBoss app.

The posBoss website becomes the Bustle website

The new website is located at www.heybustle.com and you'll be able to log in to your Bustle Hub (what used to be called the Management site) there. We will have redirects in place if you do go to the old posBoss website.

Log in as normal with your current email and password.


What do I need to do?

We will be guiding you through the change over of the website, management site and iPad app to make it as simple and easy as possible.

All you'll need to do is make sure you know your posBoss username and password, and change any saved links that you have to the new ones below, then let your teams know what's happening.

When is this all happening?

The changes were made over April and access to the posBoss website and management site will soon automatically redirect you to the Bustle ones. We will advise when things are about to change and what is happening. There are very limited actions for you to take and nothing urgent to switch over.


What if I have an older iPad that cannot upgrade to Bustle?

There's no need to worry if you have an older iPad that cannot upgrade - but we do strongly suggest you work towards replacing old ones as we are unable to support them should they have an issue.

Older posBoss versions will still work with the Bustle setup and will still sync to an iPad with the new Bustle Till app installed. We have no plans to make any changes that will affect older iPads, but over time they may have issues. It's much better to have a plan in place than to have an iPad crash in the middle of a busy service.
