  • With both working together you have full control over when your team can and can't receive orders - increasing efficiency and reducing disruption.

  • No more getting that one order in as you're packing down for the day, causing more hassle than profit.


Detailed Steps

Setting up your schedule

  • To access your Online Ordering Hours Head to Setup > Bustle Online.

  • When you first arrive on the page press the Set up ordering hours now button.

Create your weekly ordering hours schedule

  • You start off with an empty schedule. Press Add Time Block to get started.

  • Select the day and enter start time and end time for your time block.

  • It will add in to your schedule like this.

  • You can add more than one time block per day from 12:00 midnight to 11:59pm. A full schedule for a cafe might look something like this...

  • Your online pick up times will work seamlessly with your schedule. Your pick up times will only appear if the requested time falls in your schedule. If there are no times available between the pick up options and schedule, a message will appear for the customer on the main menu page...

  • As well as on the review and confirm page, along with a message in the pick up times field that there are no valid times at present.

  • To edit or delete a time block, simply click on the block and make the required changes, or press Delete to remove the block entirely.


Switching your ordering hours schedule on/off

  • To activate your schedule for your online menu, press the Switch On button.

  • Then press the Switch on Now button to confirm setting your schedule live (and restricting ordering times to your time blocks)

  • To switch your schedule off, press Switch Off.

  • Then press the Switch Off Now button to confirm deactivating, and allowing orders to come through at any time again.


Unavailable messages

  • When your schedule is in place and live, we have a default message that appears to customers to advise when ordering online is unavailable. It appears like this...

  • customers can also view your usual online ordering schedule by clicking view our usual ordering hours.

  • To really make the unavailable message yours, you can add your own words and replace the default one.

  • and it will appear on your menu.


Some final points

  • If you use TablePay and allow customer ordering from the QR code, they will see the "Ordering Unavailable" message but will still be able to order. You may want to adjust your ordering unavailable message to communicate this.

  • Online ordering to table (Table Service) customers will not be able to order outside of your ordering hours schedule.
