Deleting and reinstalling Bustle Till app is sometimes needed to troubleshoot issues, log in to a new till or just get all files cleaned up and be on the latest and greatest version of Bustle Till. You will not lose your menu or any data in Bustle by doing a reinstall.

Before deleting, prepare the following:

  1. IMPORTANT: Is your iPad on iOS14 or later? Apple no longer allows old non-supported iPads to access older versions of apps on the App store so you may no longer be able to access Bustle Till to perform the reinstall. If this is the case, you will need to replace your iPad with a newer version rather than going through this process.

  2. Your Bustle email and password - you will need to log back into the app.

  3. Apple ID and password - you may need this if you've set up the iPad to require a password for updates/installs.

  4. Integrated Eftpos - Head to Settings > Eftpos and note down your entered details (IP Address, 8 digit pin etc) as you will need to head back here and re-enter this after the reinstall.

  5. Go to Settings > History and make sure all the orders and transactions have a green tick against them. If there are any with red exclamation marks, these records are not synced with the cloud and will be removed if you reinstall. (If this is the case, click the iPad not Syncing button below to try and resolve:

  6. (Optional) Cash up first before you delete and reinstall. This step is not needed in most cases but if you have not cashed up the iPad for a while it is highly recommended as it will take longer to sync.

If all ticks are green - you're good to go!

Close out of the Bustle Till app and then delete it by pressing and holding the app icon for a few seconds. Then click Remove App, then Delete App from the menus.

Head to the App Store on the iPad's home screen and search for Bustle

Select Bustle once it appears and press the download button (as shown).

Once Bustle has downloaded, open the app. You will need to sign in again with your Bustle credentials, then select the till you're after and press confirm.

Test your printers and eftpos are working after entering the details you saved earlier.
